"How big's your cavity?"
Gristle escapes the basement.
Gristle escapes the basement.
Gristle escapes the basement.
Gristle escapes the basement.
"The rites please Sarah"
"Will you wipe away my tears now sir? The tears that I weep for you?"
"Do you remember...?"
"A marmalade is not a jam!"
"You will bring me the sacraments!"
"They washed their robes making them white in the blood of the lamb!"
"Time to confess"
"I want to see her. Look into her"
"Bertie been here has he? Seen me in his dreams?"
"About 6 inches I reckon"
"They've come out the basement. Things must be getting bad."
In the rural cesspit of “Old Gristle”, a rich man is dying. The sadistically filthy creatures that inhabit this hellhole gather in his living room to host the annual village fete in his honour. However, hiding beneath the stale, crooked smiles, and the staler Battenberg, this backwards town has a dark secret. Black bunting hangs forlornly above his deathbed, and the tombola could result in butchery. Old Gristle’s about to end up coated thickly in blood, and who knows when the horror can end? Old Gristle is a harrowingly funny piece of in-yer-face sleaze. Produced by Splutter Theatre.
